Real estate public speaking help offered in new platform founded by real estate team leader
A new professional development program aimed at preparing experienced real estate professionals for public speaking roles has begun a soft launch.
The Industry Speaks Academy was created to help real estate professionals develop skills needed to participate effectively on conference stages, panel discussions, podcasts like RealTrending and other industry platforms.
The program focuses on readiness and performance rather than securing speaking engagements.
“Speaking is not about exposure. It is about responsibility,” said founder Kendall Bonner, team leader of The Kendall Bonner Team at eXp Realty in Tampa. “When someone is invited to speak, they are entrusted with time, attention and influence. This Academy exists to help professionals honor that responsibility and to help organizers confidently identify prepared voices.”
Organizers of the academy said many professionals across the industry have relevant experience but limited access to formal coaching, feedback and performance frameworks.
As a result, conference and event organizers often rely on a small group of repeat speakers — citing reliability and preparedness rather than a shortage of qualified candidates.
The academy’s curriculum emphasizes professional standards, clarity of message and audience-focused delivery. It does not sell speaking opportunities or guarantee placements, program organizers said.
Instead, participants engage in structured instruction, live practice sessions and direct feedback designed to prepare them for future opportunities.
During its soft launch, the academy has begun discussions with several event organizers interested in identifying speakers who have completed formal preparation, Bonner said.
“Organizers are not just looking for talent. They are looking for reliability, clarity and professionalism,” she said. “We are excited to help expand the pool of voices that are truly ready to contribute at a high level.”
The Industry Speaks Academy is open to experienced real estate professionals interested in teaching and leadership through speaking — as well as event organizers seeking prepared speakers.
