Century 21 expands in central Florida

Century 21 Real Estate has expanded its presence in the Orlando metro area through the affiliation of Hancock Realty Group in Clermont.

The move brings the Lake County brokerage — now operating as Century 21 Hancock — under the Century 21 banner as it marks its 10th year in business.

Century 21 Hancock was founded by broker-owner Matthew Mobley, who has more than two decades of real estate experience and has lived in the area for 24 years.

Mobley previously worked as a local teacher and coach — a role that helped him build long-standing relationships with local families.

Under the new affiliation, he and his agents will gain access to Century 21’s technology, marketing resources, lead generation tools, training and coaching.

“I pursued this affiliation with the well-being of my agents and their clients at the top of mind,” Mobley said in a statement. “When I met with the Century 21 team, they laid out exactly how the brand could help us better serve Lake County residents and how my agents would benefit from this affiliation.

Clermont — about 30 minutes west of Orlando — is Lake County’s most populous city and is anchored by health care providers, sports medicine facilities and training centers.

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection designated it as a “trail town” in 2018 for its network of parks, trails and lakes. The city promotes itself as the “Choice of Champions.”
